Often times I am told that people have a lot of questions to ask me and never really get around to asking. As a young pastor, I am often asked questions that really don't have anything to do with ministry at all. People ask me about relationships, finances, good books, etc. But today, I wanted to recap the first quarter of this year by looking at the Top 10 Reasons Why I love Global, the church that God has called me to lead in this new decade.
First off, I want to give a shoutout to our leadership team for the time, talents and treasures that every individual places in serving a vision and building a movement.
Now, with that said, take a look at these ten reasons, which are nothing but benchmarks for what we accomplished from January to March!

Top 10 Reasons Why I love Global (1st Quarter Recap):
1. We baptized 5 new believers. in the last couple of weeks.
2. We implemented a national conference call for Monday Night Prayer (MNP) 10:30-11:00pm.
3. We have completed Focus and Success fasts, taught budgeting and developed vision worksheets, made strategic plans and took spiritual gift assessments.
4. We are presently planning and preparing for the launch of (2) satellite congregations outside of New York City, one of which is outside of the United States.
5. We have utilized our facilities and sent funds for Haiti and Japan as well as aiding the homeless by partnering with LAB Entertainment.
6. We launched Fresh Fire Fridays on every 1st Friday, from 7:30-9:00pm.
7. We created 4th Saturday LeaderSHIFT development, discussing vision & dreams, change
optimism and desire.
8. Established GPS (Global Positional Systems) for our leadership team and future partners as a discipleship boot camp.
9. Finally, look on YouTube for the sermon series from 1st Qtr:

February: "I Am Anointed for This!"
March: "Begin Again"
10. We have also been working towards tightening our social media for maximum impact! :-)
P.S. I've also been stretched by attending gatherings with Bishop T.D. Jakes and countless others.

Wow! We got WE a lot done, but there's so much more to come!
Global is who we are.
Fire is what we bring.
Ministry is what we do!

Hey family!

I haven't written in awhile but this weekend has caused me to think critically about the future direction of my life, family and our ministry. After just getting off of a 21 day consecration, I can attest that we are seeing an explosion of growth, miracles and wonders like never before. This is definitely a defining moment!

I'm presently working hard on finishing my new book, "Expect Greater! Releasing God's Best in You!" to be released in the Summer. Inside, there's a segment called Life Tracking. In this segment, I ask all readers to track the last 5 years of their life before and after series of crisis. Then, they are to see how those crises prepared them for their future. This requires a little work. David would've never had closure if he didn't write anything down. Darren Hardy says, "The weakest ink is stronger than the strongest mind." I challenge you this week, write down where you are, where you're going and what's next.

Join New York City’s youngest pastor, D. Aaron Sherron and the entire Global Fire International for STAND 2010, commencing Saturday, June 5, 2010 at Emmanuel Church of God in Brooklyn, New York. This annual gathering is geared towards bringing the body of Christ together, discussing leadership and innovation for effective 21st Century ministry. This year’s guest speakers and artists are Bishop Christopher Cox, Shree Williams, Melissa McHugh, and Pastor D. Aaron Sherron.
Also, there will be a special Leadership panel, featuring many of the “rising stars” in the Kingdom, from the tri-state area. This conference will also celebrate the 19th birthday celebration of Pastor D, as well as the release of his newest book, “Breaking All the Rules: Keeping the Message, Changing the Methods.”

The POWER of Process Series
Week 2: "Pursuing Pentecost"
Acts 2:1-5; Ephesians 5:25-27

I. Birthing Something
Whenever God through Christ does something new, it is a holy thing.
"The people came to celebrate, but God brought them together to congregate."

II. It was a shifting
There's a shift taking place, the tides are turning, the pain is breaking. This is a time of harvest. Position yourself for expansion.
A. You Are Here on Purpose!
B. You Are Called to the Nations!
C. You're relationship with God is changing, he's re-altering your destination.

Application: The saints of old used to say, "He's coming back for a church without spot or wrinkle. However, the original text says, he's presenting himself a church."
A. Holiness is glory internal.
B. Glory is holiness external.
C. Glory is created when the barriers that separate the earth realm & the heavenly realm are removed.

III. The Protestant Reformation
Latin: "Semper Ecclesia Reformada", the church is always reforming, the church has not arrived.
When it is perfect, it will be presented. The perfecting of the saints for the work of the ministry (see Ephesians 4:11). Can God trust you to STAND up when everyone else is sitting down?

This is season of harvest, where the fruits are ripe and ready to be picked! My question is, "Are you a laborer or a spectator?" This is definitely a time of serious transition, as the Earth is waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God.
Beloved, I'm going to ask that you pray without [...]]]> I pray that all is well. This is season of harvest, where the fruits are ripe and ready to be picked! My question is, "Are you a laborer or a spectator?" This is definitely a time of serious transition, as the Earth is waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God.
Beloved, I'm going to ask that you pray without ceasing every single day. Take an extra 10 minutes in the morning and an extra ten minutes at night with a partner and pray for your city, this nation, and the world. Let's end frustration and break the strongholds in our area! This is the time of the Kingdom and let's prepare to take the nation by storm! God is establishing regional centers, placing people in strategic places for his agenda. Let's be obedient to what God is doing and move as quickly as possible to stay abreast in this shift!
In moving in this shift, we are shifting our entire schedule. For the next 100 days, we will be sticking to positioning ourselves for expansion. Starting May 1st, we are on a 100 day agenda for Kingdom advancement. It will broken up into 30-30-30-10 intervals, with particular monthly focuses and understanding of what it takes to be, "pruned." This month, we will be exploring, "The POWER of Process." As such, POWER is an acronym:
1. Purpose.
2. Obedience.
3. Worship.
4. Empower.
5. Restore.
Please join us as we move in the things of God and follow his instructions. I'm going to be calling on all members, partners, covenant affiliates, and everyone else in between to join us for Tuesday Night Takeover, a new prayer intiative every Tuesday night @ 10:30PM. This will bring all of us for across the nation to pray for a half hour, focusing on our families, the nations, sevent sectors of society, and the global shift thats apparent.
Let's stay FOCUSed and remain strategic!

Although this season has been very fast paced, we are actively engaged in reaching the masses for the Kingdom of God. This is a new season and it requires a different strategy, along with people who are willing to be committed to the vision that God has placed in our lives.
I am excited to know that in this time of change, we serving an unchanging God!

Even while facing a Great Recession, the Kingdom of God has opted out and is declaring this, "A Great Opportunity!" Let's the face the truth. Winston Churchill said, "Truth is better than facts." It is true that we are facing economic turmoil, yet, our God is still on the throne!
