Our Pastor

D.A. Sherron

Founder and Senior Pastor

D.A. Sherron is the founder and senior pastor of Global Fire International church in Brooklyn, New York. Cloaked in humility and postured in power, he is an apostolic voice for a new generation. He acknowledged his call to ministry as a toddler and began preaching at three years old, was licensed at eleven, and ordained at fifteen.
As a fifth generation preacher, he was reared and mentored by his grandfather, the late Bishop Benjamin S. Kelley. Out of this apprenticeship, he became a passionate communicator, voracious reader and an author, publishing his first book at sixteen, and currently finishing his fifth project, "Dream Again."
His heart's desire is to inspire his generation to, "Expect Greater!" and demonstrate the Kingdom of God within society. In doing so, he is the visionary and chairman of the Global Alliance, a network of young ministers and entrepreneurs committed to changing the world.
He recently launched the Global Academy, a three-year school for ministry, leadership and biblical studies. As a humanitarian, he birthed Global Scholars, a mentoring program for young men in the community which develops them into leaders full of Promise, Power and Potential.
He is committed to breaking the chains of illiteracy and poverty, which begins with self-education. In 2007, he was a student ambassador for the United States in London, Belgium and France. He is an active member of the United Nations Association. Always learning, he is presently completing his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from Nyack College. In addition, every summer he is invited to attend a Theological Intensive on the campus of Yale University.
Besides being a pastor, entrepreneur and author, he is a devoted son, loving brother and a faithful friend. From the neighborhood to the nations, countless lives have been touched by his message, ministry and mantle.
